What if my balm arrives melted or with small granules? Both are completely normal and don't affect the product at all. Tallow is sensitive to temperature — in warm weather it can soften or fully melt in transit, and in cooler temperatures it can develop small white granules as it re-solidifies. If it arrives melted, pop it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes to re-solidify. The granules dissolve instantly on contact with skin.
